Heather Hage is President and CEO of the Griffiss Institute, where she is devoted to accelerating teams and technologies with potential to advance the United States’ national security and economic competitiveness.
Heather has 17 years’ experience in building high-performing entrepreneurial teams, creating sustainable investment programs, and forging strategic partnerships between government, academic and industry. An active investor, mentor, mother, board member, lawyer, adjunct professor, and lover of travel and the great outdoors, Heather is a graduate of Hamilton College and Albany Law School and is admitted to practice before the courts of New York State and the United States Supreme Court.
Heather’s professional background includes external relations, technology commercialization, marketing and communications, intellectual property management, strategic planning, telecommunications, intergovernmental affairs, law and corporate finance, and she is the recipient of various awards and acknowledgements for outstanding service, exemplary support of women in leadership, civic engagement, and a distinguished career.
When Heather is not crushing it at work, you can find her in the Adirondacks, with her family.
