Harvey Tian, PhD, is a co-founder and CEO of Inso Biosciences, a Cornell University spinout developing hardware systems and automation tools to streamline genomic sample preparation. Dr. Tian completed his doctorate training in Harold Craighead’s research group at Cornell University, where Pacific Biosciences (NASDAQ: PACB) also originated, and co-founded Inso Biosciences along with Professor Emeritus Harold Craighead and former collaborator Dr. Adam Bisogni of Cornell’s Molecular Biology and Genetics Department. Dr. Tian has led Inso Bio’s founding team to successfully raise a total of $4M in funding across federal and state-level grants as well as investments from venture capital funds.
