With an ardent interest in finance, economic development and innovation, John uses his many years of communication experience to lead The Martin Group’s public relations department, while planning and implementing strategic PR solutions for clients like M&T Bank, New Era Cap, FuzeHub and NYSTAR. Beginning his career as print journalist, John served as Communications Director and spokesman for New York State Senator and Transportation Committee Chair Timothy Kennedy. After his tenure in politics and government, John joined another notable agency where he aided various government and corporate clients in their public affairs, community relations, and social media efforts.
