Missy Hall is the Sustainable Food Program Manager and a Staff Engineer at the New York State Pollution Prevention Institute. She utilizes her years of experience in lean systems, sustainability, and food waste management to assist businesses and organizations through technical support, outreach, and education. Ms. Hall has experience in life cycle assessment (LCA), lean problem solving, performance management, and statistical analysis. She has research experience related to the sustainable management of food waste in New York State with a focus on diversion to animal feed. Prior to joining NYSP2I, Ms. Hall’s industry experience included both food and electronics manufacturing. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering, an ME in Industrial Engineering, and an MS in Sustainable Systems, all from RIT.
