Yoni Ronn is the CEO & Founder of Moby Filters, a Techstars-backed startup tackling microplastic pollution. He previously led a NOAA-funded research program at Columbia University, where he also established the Microplastic Laundrolab. With a background in slow fashion, media, and sustainability in the built environment, he is a 2025 Newlab Founder Fellow and a 2023 J.M.K. Innovation Prize awardee. He holds a master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. When he’s not working on microplastic pollution, he can be found in the park with his dogs chasing squirrels.
