Rich is a partner at Phillips Lytle and leader of the firm’s Startups Practice Team. He focuses on corporate, finance and venture capital law, as well as complex mergers and acquisitions and commercial litigation. Rich advises companies ranging from startups to Fortune 50 businesses and has lectured extensively on corporate law, venture capital and entrepreneurship. He has guest lectured at leading colleges and universities and previously served as an adjunct professor. A frequent author and speaker, Rich has contributed to major legal publications and remains active in New York’s startup ecosystem as a judge, mentor and panelist for business plan competitions and entrepreneurship programs.
