Joshua Ackerman is an entrepreneur and Emergency Medical Technician dedicated to solving pre-hospital healthcare bottlenecks. As co-founder of Lucent EMS Solutions, he is developing a wearable to automate clinical documentation for first responders. This vision earned the Grand Prize at the New York Business Plan Competition. His startup is deeply rooted in his frontline experience serving as First Assistant Chief at Harpur’s Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Service. Blending clinical insights with business strategy, Joshua studies Accounting and MIS at Binghamton University and will soon join Deloitte as an Audit and Assurance Assistant. In his free time, he enjoys family and friends, pickleball, comedy movies, and emerging technologies.
