Dr. Tamatha Fenster is a board-certified gynecologist, Director of Innovation and Biotechnology at the Weill Cornell Medicine Fibroid Center, and a co-founder of GynStrong. Dr. Fenster is also the inventor of Tamicap. Dr. Fenster has also developed the HaloSpeculum, a soft, comfortable vaginal retractor now used in NewYork-Presbyterian operating rooms, and smartHER MRI, a software platform for automated 3D myoma mapping currently in clinical trials. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also created VoiceLove, an app enabling communication between families and intubated patients, which recently received NIH funding. Dr. Fenster holds several patent-pending innovations, and is passionate about women’s health.
