Biography

Kate Frucher is Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Clean Fight, a not-for-profit climate tech accelerator that searches for the most promising ready-to-install solutions from around the world and helps aggressively scale their adoption in New York and beyond, quickly and equitably. The Clean Fight is supported by New York State (NYSERDA), and federally by the U.S. Departments of Energy and Commerce, and is part of New Energy Nexus.

Kate has spent most of her career as an entrepreneur and operator, helping to launch and grow multiple companies and social enterprises. Highlights include launching the AmeriCorps National Service Program from the White House, driving reform at the New York City Fire Department after the attacks of 9/11, helping to build companies Axiom Law and ideeli from startup to $100m+, and co-founding Imprint, a digital tool to spark acts of kindness. She’s a graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Law School, and is a Henry Crown Fellow with the
Aspen Institute.
