Steve McDonald is an engineering leader with Moog’s Space Division, leading engineering for the Propulsion Business Unit from Moog’s rocket engine test facility in Niagara Falls, New York. He has more than 18 years of experience spanning engineering, program management, product development, and organizational leadership, with a focus on spacecraft propulsion. Steve has contributed to numerous commercial, defense, and NASA programs including Mars 2020 Perseverance and Europa Clipper. He holds an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and undergraduate degrees in engineering and mathematics from the University at Buffalo, an MBA from the University of Wyoming. He is passionate about advancing space exploration and elevating New York’s role in it.
