Murli is a serial entrepreneur and scientist in the biotech industry, specializing in the successful translation of laboratory discoveries into commercial products for the agricultural sector. He grew up on a rural farm in India and has over 20 years of experience developing innovative technologies. With a Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology, he holds numerous patents and has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed papers. As a scientist at Cornell University, he co-invented novel molecules that enhance plant defenses and later founded Ascribe Biosciences to commercialize the invention for crop protection.
